in Japan, the Emperor’s Birthday (天皇誕生日), so everyone gets the day off. we celebrated that (and Kiri’s arrival in Tokyo!) with some purikura. like y’do.
on Sunday (yesterday), I went to Ikebukuro with Ali and Erin and Anna
it was way fun! this is why I wanted to be in Japan, after all! =D
we went shopping on Otome Road and a little in the Sunshine 60, tho I didn’t buy anything ‘cause I still have no money >_< but w/e, I got a crepe and ramen and we ate at an izakaya. (foooood. yum.)
we definitely need to do it again sometimes!

it’s a little early for Halloween, but eh. it’s Halloween season at Tokyo Disneyland, so it must be Halloween time, right?
Kate and I went to visit Chelsea, our 先輩 from Simmons College. last time we saw Chelsea, she had just graduated was was moving to Japan. now, we’ve just graduated and moved to Japan.
